well i'm graduating from highschool in feb.
is it just me, or is this whole thing rather scary??
i mean the whole, starting college thing i'm okay with.
but the concept that a month and a half after i graduate, i'm considered and "adult".
is kind of intimidating.

so.
i was just wondering how the rest of you feel/felt about it??

i was just happy to have exams finish. granted the education system here is different, its all about 12th grade finals.

"Adult" life tho is much more scary if you find that scary

I'm graduating this year, too, and YES it's majorly scary. Partly because I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my life. But when I graduate, I still won't be an "adult". When I start college, I might not even be an adult then. But yeah, growing up kind of stinks. And it seems like I'm not doing it fast enough for anyone... my dad started calling my best guy friend my "boyfriend". I'm not OLD enough for one!

Graduating isn't all that bad, I will have been out of high school for two years, now that's scary! Where did all the time go? GOODNESS!

I'm not growing up fast enough for anyone...except my dad! I never had the problem of him

calling anyone my "boyfriend", goodness, I am nearly twenty and he still says he doesn't know if

he's ready for me to like someone! I think it just makes him sad that his oldest "baby" girl is

growing up so fast in his eyes, my mom is not quite as upset about it, well, as much anyways!

It's not the actual graduating that I'm worried about. It's what comes after that. I don't like being directionless!

your whole life will be like that then, not just about what you'll study.

so find something you love and go for it

I'll be graduating in June and I still can't realize that. I've been in organized school all my life, with people helping me along and now in less than a year, I'll be on my own and living completely day by day.
I know (I think) what I want to do, but still,it's scary and unknown. I'm both excited and confused and in a bit of disbelief. TIME GOES BY TOO FAST!!

As for the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing, I believe I've found someone who is wondeful! We are very good friends (not dating quite yet.) and have a deep meaningful relationship. However, in June, she is going to school in Ontario and I in Nova Scotia (opposite ends of the country -about 3 days straight drive apart) and I don't want to lose her. I want to cherish and spend as much time as possible with her. THAT is one of my other fears/worries about graduating.

Mmm, I feel exactly the same way. And I don't even have immediate plans for school! Hey, you're from Canada, do you live in Nova Scotia? I'm from Ontario...

okay. boyfriends are LAME. LOL That was kinda funny. But I think I'd agree with you! Not from personal experience or anything, but you know what I mean!

No, I'm not from Nova Scotia. I'm from Ontario, but I plan to go to school in Cape Breton. Where in Ontario are you from?
