I want a 45 foot self contained RV. I don't really care about the power train as long as it is dependable. It has to be a pop-up model for the second story master bedroom I want and pop-outs on both sides the entire length of the vehicle. A large hot tub/spa is a must also. Cruise control, TRUE cruise control where I can sit on the sofa in the back while the RV goes where I want it to, would be nice.

ORIGINAL: hemidart [:Yo post 16. Thanks for at least staying with North American car. However I seriously doubt a supercharged Mustang is the car for todays gas prices. And as for spending $50,000 for a car to have better performance--I don't think so. We know people who have spent less than $12 grand to do up a turbo Dodge 2.2, 2.4, 2.5 litre 4-cyl-than will spit your rustang out for breakfast. Check out some Chrysler Shelby Chargers & Daytonas on U-Tube in the 10-12 second(1/4 mile) runs--or maybe the ugly Caliber SRT'S "done-up". My son has an old '86 Shelby stock engine with mod. computer that does 13's--spins in 3 gears--poor off-line traction that beats most Rustangs& Cameros. Four cylinder turbo is THE car for today's times for economy & performance--whichever you choose with the gas pedal.] This will be a controversial subject also. North Americans ( as you can see in most of the previous posts) HAVE NO CONCEPTION of what they are doing when buying OTHER than a Nth. American car. They are taking the wealth of Canada & USA to GIVE to overseas countries--many of whom we don't support their policies or religions. Meanwhile the Nth. American companies are being drained financially, some of your neighbours, friends, etc. are losing their jobs because of your selfishness in buying foreign cars. Even if they have Nth. American factories, most of the price of the car goes to the foreign country. We have good cars as theirs--long as you don't compare a $40,000 Honda to a $18,000 N.A. car. Try pricing out a starter ,alternator. etc. for a Nissan as compared to N.A. car--you'll get a BIG shock!! And do you see more OLD Hondas on the road than other cars? No. You see, most foreign car owners have an "image" to keep up--so if or before something goes wrong, they trade it in. I'm ready for the backlash--let 'er come. Have a good one. YO..it's not nice to "knock" someone's car that they are proud of and have put time and effort into, thank you. Also, please read my original post more carefully! I said to get a NEWWWW car to be able to run with my stang you're looking at 50K...meaning a factory unmodified vehicle. I am running 10 lbs of boost through 4.6 liters and have dyno graphs showing over 480 horsepower at the WHEELS. I can very very easily run low 12's. I know some Honda guys running mid 11's with 4 bangers and they are serious serious machines...with a LOT of money in them. To each his own my friend. Also, I couldn't help but laugh at the statement that a blown mustang is not the car for today's gas prices. This thing clocks about 2500 miles a year....I really don't care what gas prices are. I didn't buy it for fuel mileage. I know a lot of car guys who drive everything from Fords, Chevys, Chrysler, Honda, you name it. We don't get together and trash each other's car and talk about whose car is better than whose and use terms like "Rustangs". we appreciate each other's cars in that we all have different tastes and have put a lot of work into our cars.

I think most of the people who answered this theme were from north American continent, so here is my choice from the old country. It would be a 1967 Mk 1 Ford Cortina in midnight blue. it was the best car I ever had, for the past 30 odd years I have had RV's
