CLOVERFIELD
-One of the most pointless movies ever made. What was going on? What was happening? What happened at the end? You mean the movie's over and I still don't know what the heck I was watching? I would like to hurt the director now, please...
HOUSE of 1000 CORPSES
-I expected more out of you, Rob Zombie. I at least expected to be slightly nervous. Just not bored. I have never fast-forwarded so much through a movie I wanted to see so bad.
STAR TREK: GENERATIONS
-Captain Picard in a physical confrontation with an "ageless" misguided antagonist, and a time-swept over-the-hill Captain Kirk is his backup. I will just pretend this never happened, thank you very much...

These are the 2 movies I thought of immediately when I saw this thread.
Most people have never even heard of Howard the Duck - I remember it. Horrible!
Cloverfield - my boys enjoyed it but I agree with you. Pointless. However did you catch at the beginning and end they made it look like we were watching a gov't film (meaning, our gov't apparently went back in at some point and found the tape the kids made during the 'event')

I bring my three year old to all the new kid movies that come when they hit the theatre. Normally they are good but Fly Me to Moon was the worse kid movie I think I have ever seen. Terrible!

ajlewis - I do want to watch "The Exorcist" with my wife one of these days, just to see if she gets as freaked out as I do. Honestly it is the scariest movie ever made. I have never watched it all the way through...

I Am Legend--A bit of a strange pick, because it was a good move. But it wasn't one I enjoyed very much, and one I really have little desire to see again.
Stranger Than Fiction--Mildly entertaining and humorous, but not one I really liked very much.

Wicker Man.
Wow, is all I can say. Two hours of my life gone. . . forever. I'm still mourning the loss of that time all this time later. Easily one of the worst movies I've ever suffered through.

Final Fantasy
I kept wondering, "What is going on?" When I figured out what was going on, I wondered, "Why are they doing that?" When I reasoned out why they were doing it, I asked myself, "Why did I pay money to see this?"
I could not answer the last question.

Blair Witch Project - since I got physically sick watching it the first time and having a White Castle prior to the movie did not help. Never again!

Silence of the Lambs. I'm not a horror flick fan and this one gave me nightmares for a loooong time.
I can't think of any others right offhand, but mostly movies that looked interesting from the trailers that ended up being a waste of time.
