You got what you deserved for this one Jack. Even if the story was true, to imply it say anything about Obama supporters defies reason and common sense.
As for the three pages of Obama hate posted on this thread, now that really does say something about McCain supporters, and what is says ain't pretty.

Yes. The sweeping comments about Obama supporters in this thread are completely unfounded - as evidenced by your sweeping comment about McCain supporters.
I'm hanging my head in shame. I may carve a backwards 'B' in my cheek later as punishment.

All of that said, for those who are tempted to return partisanship with partisanship, can I ask- can you try to resist the urge? What Jack did was not all that different than all who have posted partisan rhetoric in support of Mr. Obama-and please keep in mind, the day will come when it's time to eat crow. Hopefully at that time it will be handled with the same grace and aplomb that Jack has today.

I was tempted to add a post to this thread yesterday, but it sounded just a little too tidy of a story. There's far too many real stories out there to get caught up in what these assorted nutbags on either side are doing. Hopefully, she's prosecuted and punished. Apparently, she's a Ron Paul supporter, which makes it even weirder.

JHUD, I don't fault you for thinking this story was true. Honestly, who would have thought that this election has turned so heated that people are hurting themselves and blaiming it on the other candidates' supporters. You're alright in my book!
I am kind of disapointed in how other people on this forum responded when I said that I didn't believe this story was poltically motivated. Some posters seemed upset that I would even suggest that this story was false and that the B could have stood for something else.

There's something else about this story that bothers me. Why did she fake this by shaping a letter 'B' on her face? Why not an 'O'?

I can't argue with that. If this woman really wants McCain/Palin to win the election, this was by far the worst way she could go about it.
OTOH, if she actually secretly supports Obama/Biden, what better way to make the other side look like kooks?

Okay, so this was a hoax.
And, unlike the Obama supporters who are still harping about the whole "kill him" thing which was also stated to be a hoax by the Secret Service, I will admit it, apologize for my voracity, and get on with life.

they are saying on the news how that this hoax traveled around the world so fast.
they are also saying on the news how this whole thing is getting kinda luny... a lot of stuff that should not be happening is happening that is hate-filled. People asking their candidate to tell thier suporters hold on and not say stuff that they are saying.

Hubby's getting a little concerned with all the brouhaha, though, he was double checking that I knew how to use his firearms and how to get them out of the safe last night. :\ And going over news article after news article saying "see why we don't do bumper stickers and signs?"
