In the Lord of course...
Another thread was started by d4nnyb0y02, titled "where were you when you realized who Jesus was".
I liked that topic, and I like any topic when we can discuss when, where, how, and who we are in the Lord. I think it strengthens our bond, our fellowship with each other if we know these things about each other.
So I thought we could try this....and since it is my thread, I will start.
How old are you in the Lord?(if you know the exact date, please give it).
1 year and 3 almost 4 weeks. It was October 4th, 2008, so I am just a baby.
Unfortunately I act like it sometimes, but I am growing as He sheds His Son-shine on me.
Are you baptized? If yes, when?
No, not yet. But I do plan on it sometime soon.
Have you been called into something specific for the Lord?
I believe so. I don't think I am ready yet, taking my youth into consideration. Still on the milk most of the time. But I feel lead into ministry. Pastoring a flock sometime down the road.
How did you know what it was that He was calling you to do?
At times I am still unsure. Sometimes I think it is just me. But I do feel He is leading me down this path, and He has given me 2 very vivid dreams to reaffirm what He is showing me otherwise.
Please feel free to add any question which would help us get to know you better. I know this is not a personal dating site, and am not asking for anything along those lines. Just whatever would help some of us younger believers along the path we are called to walk. So for fellowship and growth feel free to ask away.

Hmm, I was saved when I was 8, so that makes me 30 years old in the Lord! Wow.. I'm feeling old.

Yes, I was baptized a few years later. I had anxiety about walking the aisle all by myself and being baptized all by myself, so that took a little longer for me.

Well, all the other doors were closing and this one was wide open. There had been some things happen in my life many years earlier that, as I look back, were preparing me for this calling. I had people who recognized my strengths long before I did. If it hadn't been for them, I would not be here now. Also, God has strengthened me in ways that it is just unmistakable that He wants me here to stay. So I stay and wait for Him to bring something better along, but so far, he hasn't. (sometimes, our ministries don't always come easy to us; please don't feel like I'm complaining, I'm just still adjusting).

I don't have an exact date or age. I was raised as a Christian, and that's how I've remained, though I've grown more in my faith since childhood.

Truthfully, since He has always considered me His, I'd say 54 because that's my age. But I've known Him personally since I was about 12.

Yes. My parent's had me baptized as an infant. And the Lord led me to be baptized by immersion in a river about ten years ago.

I have been teaching women's Bible studies for seventeen years.
How did you know what it was that He was calling you to do?
Because He gave me the gifts necessary for that.

Gave my heart to the Lord at 10 - REALLY didn't KNOW Him until later, my new birth day is 11/24/96 - I'm almost 12!
Are you baptized? YES If yes, when? At birth - why, I'll never know. At 10 and at 18 in the swimming pool of a hotel.

I have always known... even when I paid Him no attention - it was still there. While at times I fear it the most, it is the strongest ...thing.. for lack of a better word that God has given me.

#1 I was told when I was 18 y/o that I would never conceive, #2 I had ovary surgery in 1996, and then in 2005 learned I pregnant. I almosted fainted and was totally in shock for 3 days 
Believe me His point ,errr was taken. But I do know He has something else, that's what I am now trying to figure out!

As Bill Cosby put in in his stand up act, when referring to "little Jeffrey", I fou yeas old. That is four years old for those who need the translation. I was first saved at 17, and then again at 21, but they did not "take" so to speak. There was no growth, so I don't consider them, because I lost faith being more in love with my sin afterwards. Then, late in 2004, I came back to Him and have not lost faith and have grown in Him. So I consider myself to be 4.
On January 19, 2005, the very day that my grandfather was put to rest, and the 27th anniversary of my maternal grandmother's death, I was baptised. My grandfather was a man of strong faith, so I considered it as a tribute to him as well as an act of obedience that I had never taken before. I also look at it as the day that I died to my old life for sure, because it produced a change in the course of my life, and a change in the way that I think.
Everyone is called into something specific for the Lord. For me it is to help others who are hurting, and help others to grow in Christ, even as I continue to grow in Him. I know this only because I can feel Him pushing me to help people who are hurting. Addicts who are hurting and looking for help, people who are depressed, someone who has lost a loved one. I am to make a difference in individuals lives by sharing my testimony on how He healed me from depression, being there to talk to others, and to just sit and listen to them and love them as they hurt.

I was saved in October, 1973. Yes, I am old as dirt.

Yes. God commands it, so I gladly did it. In 1973 or early '74.
Have you been called into something specific for the Lord?
My husband and daughter. And possibly in dealing with cults (the Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses generally don't come to my door more than once. I have to go find them now) as I was saved out of a cult and understand what a trap they are. I had to find out why they are different from mainstream Christianity because I had to fight my way out. It drove me into the Bible (and Walter Martin's "Kingdom of the Cults").

This is going to sound lame, but circumstances. God put me here. Like He told Moses, "What's in your hand?"
It's been a long trip. God has graciously dealt with my sins and strongholds, and little by little my life is being cleaned up (I was seriously messed up and stubborn, and now some of that is gone). I certainly haven't "arrived" <cough, choke> but my life works better than it used to, and I have a certainty that weathers hard times because I've been through hard times and got some of the useless junk and errors carved off me. Like when Eustace was a dragon, the skin peels off a layer at a time ("Voyage of the Dawn Treader" by C.S. Lewis - one of my favorite books!). Still lots more to do, but God's grace is inexhaustable. Yay!

A few weeks after, I received Christ. It was difficult getting someone to baptize me. The pastor resigned, and I had to wait for a substitute pastor from another SBC church to come and do it.

Yes
How did you know what it was that He was calling you to do?
He wouldn't let up on me. He kept tugging on me to step out of the boat, and trust him with it.
It was a far cry from my comfort zone. And fear could have paralyzed me, but I stepped out
in faith, believing He would see me through. And he did. May Jesus be praised!

If you would have asked me before i was born again, i'd say all of my years (but you sure couldn't tell, i sure couldn't  .)

In 1 corinthians 7:20 it says let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.
Well, i was called during my marriage. I pray to be a beacon of light for my children and my husband.
I hope, if it is GOD's will, that we as a family will be called to serve.

I didn't know, exactly. I'm praying my life is being well served where i am.
And i'm hoping that He will direct us to serve and glorify Him according to His will.

Called into the ministry: September 1989 where I have served in many capacities including Youth Crisis, International Outreach, and Women's Ministry...I currently serve in Pastoral Care as a Women's Biblical Counselor.
How did I know? I sensed that God wanted to use me in the ministry, so I prayed consistently for 9 years that He would open a door for that to happen. In September 1989, while on duty at the hospital, I received a phone call from my church asking if I'd like to come on board. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was God answering my prayer.

6 weeks old, saved since 9/16/08 sometime around 9:30 AM

I was saved on a tues and baptized on that following Sunday 9/21/08.

I am not sure yet, but I feel that God is calling me into some type of teaching or preaching.
How did you know what it was that He was calling you to do?
God was drawing me and put a desire to search and read His Word about 10 months before He saved me. That desire to study and teach is still there, also my profession atm is a teacher..., but I am waiting on the Lord to make it evident before I just off into something, but I feel God is calling me to teach or preach.

Yes I have the Lords calling to work with children/people in need.
As young person I started to work in child care and in the church as a children teacher etc. (Children/baby/youth/sr)
I knew GOD would give me a Husband that was in the service But it took him 25yr to give it all to the Lords durning this he/we worked in our local church
*So how did I know?
I talked with the Lord.Read/study/shared with other/ and He opened the doors for me/us even at time we did not go thue we kept in the walk and knew He would show us the way?
I do know and belived every one is called to service each has it own, some is just to be a pray partener, then person that listen with a loving ear has a calling! We all have a job to do for the Lord !
Some just take loner to acept the job. Heavens payment will be great!

So we as empity nesters we when to Bible College and Got the paper work to become a YOUTH pastor/Worship leader
I finshed up with my degree in Children MINSTERY
SO after 30+yr I know the Lord prepared me and my (husband) family for the service he Has for us!
We are in the sereachfor the place He wants US!
