Well, Thank You Frog.... I noticed Jack Law last night and he didn't look like he felt to good, he only sang one song.

ORIGINAL: deblawson No, Matt is no longer on the show. Melton is still on occasionally. I had the awesome privilege of attending a LIVE TV show this morning with my friends, The Diplomats. The show on ETC TV 3 in Ellijay, GA was hosted by Cherie Martin of Jasper, GA, and today's co-host was non other than MATT DIBLER!! As has previously been posted, Matt hadn't been on the show for several months. The crew was obviously thrilled to see him, and The Diplomats were equally happy to see their long time friend. Matt sang "Thank You Lord For Your Blessing On Me" and several other songs with the group. It was an emotional time for Matt and for everyone else in attendance. Later in the show, I even got to play "Jesus Is Coming Soon" and "Beulah Land" for him and the guys from The Diplomats. Afterwards, we shared a late brunch at a wonderful restaurant with Matt, where he shared a tremendous testimony with us. Public forums aren't the place to discuss the events of the last few months of his life, but I will say that the Matt Dibler I saw today is one that is sincerely thankful for his family, for forgiveness, for true friends, for godly council, for healing and for restoration that only comes as a result of communion with a loving God. He talked openly (yet, in confidence) with us, and I felt he was utterly genuine, and he just had a sweet, unassuming spirit about him. I think that given a little more time, and some encouragement, that this Man of God will come through this storm with an even more effective ministry than ever before. He may not ever be a nationally recognized singer again, but I feel that he'll have more perspective on a few crucial, personal issues. He seems to be a man that has miraculously received a second chance, and is using it for the Glory of God. I've never really been a huge Matt Dibler fan, but as of today, I can certainly say I am a Matt Dibler friend, for sure. It's been a good day.

I just wanted to add one thing.... I hate it whenever people make posts on here that give the impression of "I know a secret, but I'm not telling...." I trust that no one takes my earlier post as being that way at all. I feel that Brother Matt has arrived at the place where he'll talk to anyone, as long as it's done in Christ-like attitude. But, that said, I still don't think it would be good to inundate him with all kinds of detailed questions that are really and truly none of our business. Does that make sense?

Good to hear this report on Matt Dibler. Hope that everything is OK on the homefront, now. Appears that it must be. Wish he'd get back to singing some, even if solo or with his girls.

I tuned in to the local cable channel last night and I was delighted to see Matt Dibler back on the show as co-host. The Diplomats were guests on the show and that is the first time that I have been privileged to hear them. Rita Pearson has a powerful voice. Matt and the Diplomats sang some songs together and I was truly blessed. It was a great show.

Glad you enjoyed my buddies, The Diplomats. I have the great privilege of traveling with them alot. Their young pianist, Michael Lott, is an AWESOME pianist, but he's so young, that he's not familiar enough with some of the older songs to play them 'off the cuff', so I got to play a couple of the songs with Matt, yesterday. That was a lot of fun! I hope you could feel a little bit of the Spirit we were feeling in that little studio. God's presence was certainly there. For anyone that cares to watch, the show should replay 3 times this Friday (the day after Thanksgiving). Their channel can be seen on their website, North Georgia Now Just click on the flashing text that says "Watch Live Shows Now". The 2 hour show will re-air at 8:30 am, 6 pm, and at 11:30 pm Eastern time on Friday only. Try to catch it, if you can.

ORIGINAL: musicnerd So does anyone know if Matt still has his church? Matt is no longer pastoring, but before too much longer, I truly expect to see him out ministering again. Maybe some of his preacher buddies should consider calling him in for a Sunday Night service. That would kind of help him get started back up. He could sing one or two, and then preach, or he could just sing. Either way, I do think yesterday marked a new beginning for him, and I think his testimony will be very effective for Christ's Kingdom. I know he touched my life emmensely.
