Could not make out what you changed but don't get me wrong. The original title you did is OK. I should have not made my post but I hope we get some posts about what we are Thankful for.

I changed the title of my 2nd post in this thread to "Geezers and Wannabees Palaver About Thanksgiving Blessings", which is at the top of each post until someone else decides to change it again.

Right now I am thankful that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has plans for my life, plans to give me peace and a future and a hope. On my own, I haven't a clue what is going to happen. But PTL, I don't have to worry about it.

I'm thankful for my family, the roof over my head, the ability to go and buy groceries when I need them, my husband's job. I'm thankful I live in a country that I can agree or disagree with my neighbor over the political process and not have to fear for my or my family's life. I'm most thankful I'm a child of God and live in country that I'm not punished for openly stating my beliefs and worshiping my Lord.

Dana, Whenever you get on here, I want to thank you for your kind words about my poem in the other thread. I typically do write my lyrics with a tune but am never confident enough to send them to anyone. I've never seen myself as a great writer but I am thankful that God is always giving me something to write. He is so good!
