I do have a question. Does anyone keep up with Big10 football besides me? I thought Daniel might since he is from Ohio.

Good morning, Mr. York, Santa, QTman, Dude, and Ruth!

No, I don't follow football. If anything, when OSU plays Michigan (and I couldn't tell you which of the Michigan teams), I kinda hope Michigan wins, because if Ohio wins, everyone seems to go crazy around here. (Yes, the crime rate is literally higher after OSU wins.)

I honestly could care less about sports. Ask Sony; she's a lot more into sports than I am, believe it or not.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone!

Just wanted to say-----------Soul'd Out Quartet moved from #80 on the Singing News Southern Gospel Chart to #59 in one month. I am so proud of hogfan (Tanner) and all of the group. God is blessing them and I am excited to see what else God has in store for them.

Well, I was going to go and work on jewelry, but thought I saw Lynn lurking in here.

Brenda, what we did the years when my kids were little and they were at their dad's house for Christmas day, we just adjusted the date to whatever suited us! It's an artificial date anyway, so we considered Christmas to be the day when we celebrated together.

That is our plan as well. We will have CHRISTmas when I get home. It will be a little tough on the manchild, but he is old enough to understand.

I was divorced about twenty-five years ago; and I don't remember celebrating CHRISTmas on Dec. 25 since then. I figured that I got to have my kids the rest of the year, so I could be the bigger person and not have them on the holidays. It has saved so much hassle. Although now that they are all married, it is hard for the kids to figure out a schedule. I just feel good knowing I am not adding to their stress.

#1. Alabama
#2. Penn State
#3. Texas Tech

All three are 9 and 0.

Guess you called it about right, depending on which poll you look at.
Penn State & Texas Tech swaps places in the two polls. Georgia to my surprise came in # 14.

We've made extreme efforts to be home for the holidays on the holidays in the past with the exception of the 5 years we lived in Seattle. This year we were asked by my husband's older brother not to stay with his parents because of his mother's decline in health. So we are staying home. There are too many of us and not enough room at any of my family's homes to house all of us. My son and his girlfriend have to board their 3 dogs to the tune of around $400 for a 4 day holiday weekend. We have decided to go home the first weekend of December instead of LLI to check on things...just an overnighter to check on his parents and stay at my mom's...my eldest and his girlfriend won't be going. I'm taking my mother to Lynchburg to see BB & Triumphant as her Christmas. Then we will go back the weekend before Christmas to see all of the family...rent a room...and then go to LLI on 12/22 to see Santa and back home on 12/23. Yet the actual holidays we will be in the warm confines of our own home...actually looking forward to it. Still get to see my beloved Blue Ridge Mountains during the holiday season.

This will be the 3rd year in a row we can celebrate with family prior to CHRISTmas. For several years our family CHRISTmas get togethers were in January. But since we are at Lake Lanier Islands, that is near most of the family. Thank you Lord. So we will have part of the family over on Dec. 7 and the other on Dec. 21. And special friends will be visiting at other times.
For this we are very thankful.

As stated in previous post we will see you on Dec. 22-23 instead of Dec. 5-6! We will be doing the Breakfast with Santa too.

Well...as you can see I got my avatar changed but it wouldn't let me load any of my own...kept saying file too large...I know they aren't. Still couldn' vote on the November SuperFan poll without getting a runtime error.
Hopefully Fritz or whomever is working on it will get things fixed tomorrow.

I couldn't load one of my own without it saying the file was too large...nope it's the same size it was before. So I loaded one of the generics and it loaded fine! Go figure~

I tried again too to load something and still got the runtime error. Oh well... pumpkins aren't THAT bad. And you do tend to think of pumpkins during harvest season -- although usually the ones without teeth or claws or whatever. I'm thinking of trying to make some Johnny cake in my electric skillet now because Qtman made me hungry for corn bread. I sure wish I had some pinto beans!

Brenda tonight we had Pinto Beans, Mashed potatoes, Fried Pork Chops, what I call fried corn(Proper folks call it Cream Style) and of course cornbread. I ate to much. I think I will go over to Theo and confess.
