Now the question becomes this. Was that in case I called you a geezer, or was that in case I didn't say good morning to you?

GOOD MORNING GEEZERLAND!!!
Happy Lord's Day!

It's another rainy day in the Low Country. Right now it looks like the sun is trying to peak out.

Apparently I lost some posts overnight. Not many but still a few. I guess I'm now at the point where I'm going to see this more frequently.

I think we all get to this point sooner or later in our life time.

I'm going to ignore James' post....

I do want to let everyone know that Hubby received a call this morning from his doctor...yep I said this morning...anyway...all of his lab tests have come back normal even his chloresterol wasn't high enough to warrant medication. He wants us to continue to monitor his bloodpressure and if it stays high then he will put hubby on BP meds. So all in all that is very good news. PTL!!!

Good morning Geezerland.

Still damp here in LA but otherwise fine.

Santa good to hear about MRs. C. Maybe she will continue to get rest and keep getting stronger.

Hey Sam, I was in Alabama for the first time last Monday. I was taken to the Bellengrath Gardens, and we had a most enjoyable day. We also spent some time driving thru Mobile and the evening rush hour and rain looking for a restaraunt.

Good to here about Mrs. C.

Mornin' everyone!

It's still gloomy here in GA (as much from UGA's loss as from the cloudy skies). I went to early service (9:30) only to find out that they're only going to have the 11:00 service because of the holiday. Shoulda thought of that. Now I'm trying to decide which church to go to for the 11:00 service.

Gary Bellengrath Gardens are beautiful. Even moreso when the Azaleas are in full bloom. If you come back and if you like good sea food try the Original Oyster House on Battleship Parkway. It is great. You might also enjoy the Battleship park if you are into history. THey have the U.S.S. Alabama, a sub(I think the U.S.S. Drum several WWI Airplanes and a couple of helicopters. You can tour all of them.

I do hope you're better really soon! It would be horrible for you to miss them!!

I'm watching Tony Peace Gospel Hour and he's playing "When He Washed My Sins Away" off the Greater Vision "Quartets" DVD. I may have to get the DVD out to watch the whole thing when Tony's show is over!!

Lots of people sick right now. Just got a call from Becky, Karen Peck's secretary. They were bringing 2 vans of kids to LLI tonight but cancelled because so many were sick. And Becky sounded like she has Laryngitis. Mrs. C's Daughter Kelly is sick also.

Mrs. C. ate a good breakfast that I brought her. Still weak and has a rough cough as yet.

Trying for a nap. Hope I don't oversleep. May set alarm just in case. Don't want to be late for work tonight.

Good afternoon all. Still rainy and overcast here...muggy though...in the mid 60s but looks like it's going to cool down starting tomorrow.

Well...I'm about done with my decorating...still need to get my Christmas dishes out of the cabinets. Other than that...I'm done!

Oh yeah I did! I went out with little over $500...finished up my CHRISTmas shopping with the exception of a resturant gift card I'm getting my sister and brother-in-law.
I got a digital camera at Target that had been $144.99 for $89.00. I had looked at it the week before and decided that was the one I wanted. I'm thrilled over that...it's my present from the family. Got a GE Microwave at Walmart that sold for $58 but Friday morning it was $25...that took care of Eldest's girlfriend and got a Kodak 2GB SD card for my camera for $7. Got manchild a pair of Wrangler jeans for $8 and several toy items were bought that were doorbuster specials for $10...just to name a few.
I was at Walmart at 5am...Target by 5:45...and several other places thereafter including breakfast at IHOP and home by 9am! Now that is called power shopping!

Oh...I spent the next 2 1/2 hours wrapping and stashing the stuff!

Certainly will be keeping Mrs. C. out of this weather. Really been nasty out. But wish we could have gotten more rain. If it is going to be this bad out, may as well be raining heavy and fill this lake.
