I know she did it on purpose. In fact I wonder if she is the one that bit my blessing on the face when we first moved out here.

All the girls are at fault since the rest of them saw it happening and did not come to an adult until they saw my blessing come to me sobbing. One of them said my blessing pushed the brat, but then I heard later that the brat pushed and then scratched my blessing.

I don't know what happened. My blessing has at times pushed, but she has never bitten or scratched anyone else on purpose. I'm not talking about the accidental scratches that sometimes happen in play.

Even my husband a while back was talking about this girl and said "She is nasty." She is. When that girl becomes a teen I see lots of problems with her.

I do know before the split that some people left the congregation due to behavior of other children that they did not want their children to pick up on or be around. I see why-I don't want my blessing to learn that it's okay to hurt people, that she deserves to be treated that way and that you do nothing when you see someone is hurt and then do not answer an adult when they ask you what happened.

And since my blessing said "The girls"- plural don't like me, it means that the rest of them did something to her as well.

Just getting my feet wet because we will start homeschooling again. Not sure if we're going to start in January or wait until the beginning of the school year yet. Hi all!

Welcome back, Roberta. It's nice to see you.
I am amazed that you are going to homeschool again. I hope it goes very well for you and that Lord blesses you abundantly.

Narnia, When I was referring to the girl doing it on purpurse, I was referring to the girl you said will not acknowledge your leadership and will not bring you the materials you need. I don't understand why she has that rather than you in the first place. And, we put your in charge? Can you go to that person and complain about how you are being treated and how you are not being given access to the materials you need to lead the group?

Thanks Cynthia- It's mostly out of necessity. DD isn't doing well in public school and private school is too expensive.

narnia--there's a reason I don't go to church anymore. There's a certain amount of "rough edges" with people tht you just have to put up with. Noone is perfect! But, when it comes from leadership, and it is an ongoing issue, uh, no.

denim--welcome!

Well, some idiot forgot about time change. I was up way too late watching for my friend to finish Ironman Florida. They have a live video feed of the finishline. I was watching but somehow missed him! He finished in 14:14. Ironman is 2.4mile swim, 112mile bike, and 26.2mile run. Yah, I wanna do one!

His, I wish some of your enthusiasm for physical fitness would rub off on me.

we spent all day out today shopping....and practically the whole time we have been planning our trip next year up to Lisa's!!!! We are going to go through a couple of places to see friends and family, and I am going to see if a good friend wants to join us on part of out trip. We haven't seen them in years, and since then she had child #4, her hubby died, and she got remarried...we had two kids last time we saw them....so it would be good to get to go camping for a few days with them and catch up!!!

That is so cool Sarah! It is so nice to be able to visit people which is one of the reasons that we like to drive everywhere we go. I can't wait until you get here!

I have known her though since...ummmm....12 years ago or so. I knew her before I even met Paul...lol. She and I are so close we don't even have to talk to know what the other is thinking...lol

peculiar--that would be way cool!!! FOT is so much fun. Lots of people. Lots of food. Oh, and lots of boys (mostly wearing blue shirts...) running around.

Cindy--if I wasn't so active, eithor I would be dead or I would kill my kids. It's just best for me to be active. Ds1 and I went for a ride this afternoon. He's out-riding me these days. Even though I rode point today, I knew he was back there chomping at the bit. So I rode as hard as I could. On solo rides I've been averaging about 15mph. Today, we averaged 18.2mph. Yah. He's pushing me!

I think it's great, His. I admire you. I know I need to be more active, but I just can't get into it. Running and biking are not fun for me. I wish I could make myself like it more, because I know I'd feel better if I got more exercise.

I have been at work for 5 hours so far. It feels like a week.

Cindy--uh, remember you have a FARM. As in your "average" day is far from sedentary!

Yeah, but it's seasonal. I tend to get a lot of exercise spring and fall during planting and harvesting, not as much during the summer, and almost none in the winter. I also work a sit down job for 12 hours (15 if you count my drive time) 3 days a week. I need to be more consistant.

Cindy, I don't know how you feel about exercise dvds, but that's what's been working for me. I tried belonging to the Y, but never seemed to get there. Walking was weather dependent and I hated it when I went too far and still had to make it back. With the dvds, I can take things at my pace and not worry about outside conditions or what other people were thinking about my efforts.

Dh is having a pitty party and I don't want to go. He's having it because our children are growing up and he misses the "good old days" of when they were young. I miss it, too... but I hate pitty parties!

I can't believe it is November and we have a few more days of this 70+ degree weather!!! Woo Woo!!

I've tried exercise dvd's before but haven't found one I really liked.

C'mon, I want this to be EASY! I want to sit next to His for an hour and have whatever she has rub off on me and poof! I'm skinny and I love to run.

lol...she has four boys, so they would fit in there too....lol. Now I just have to convince her to go!!!!!! I am thinking it won't take much convincing, and since it's this early it gives them time to save for it.
