I was watching on TV and the huge crowd seemed to be very peaceful and happy. Imagine that.

if the peaceful crowd is any indication of a pleasant surprise...
especially after a lot of us were worried - legitimatially so - and the fact that the worst did not happen and they were especially peaceful and happy.
perhaps that is a small hint/indication that obama's presidency will be peaceful and pleasantly surprising.
Kinda like a hint on the way things COULD BE... if we just trust the Lord and trust that Obama WILL do a good job in spite of the naysayers.
it started off with peacefulness, perhaps that peace will keep on going.
Give peace a chance!

Actually, having been at his rally in St. Louis with 100,000 people, I figured that if he won it would be very peaceful and the fears of violence would be way overblown. His rally here was amazing, no violence, everyone was happy to be there, nice to each other, it was really refreshing. Because you know when that many people get squished into a small area it is rarely polite, lol. But there we all were, a very diverse crowd, just all getting along and being happy. That really stuck with me. It seems the same thing happened in Chicago last night.
Now...had he lost the election, I'm not sure it would have been all that pleasant.

I was happy to see nothing bad on the news about the victory party... I assume all you Chicago-ites are fine except for a bit of leftover traffic?

Maybe, just maybe God chose Obama winninng over potential riot scenes everywhere.

Just because the media doesn't cover it doesn't mean it isn't happening:
* shots fired at the police, Chicago/Drake
* gas teams headed to area of 015/025 for unruly crowds
* 007, 006, 004 think it's New Year's Eve with gunfire
* 018 too, but that's probably yuppies
* Chicago avenue & Pulaski Ave - was like a zoo
Grant Park? There is a difference between a happy crowd and a sullen mob. Welcome to happy-town.

world. We just don't know when or how. Time will tell.

Um, I don't see anything "peaceful" about Partial Birth Abortion of which President-elect Obama is a great proponent. It's actually very violent and unnecessary. If he refuses to protect the most helpless among us, he won't protect any of us. He's a charlatan and it is sad to see so many blinded by his lovely speeches.

I agree that we got the President we deserve and that judgement is coming.
I also agree that the left is filled with hatred and had Obama not won, Grant Park would have been a very different scene.
About the possession, I don't know. I shut the tv off when Obama came on. It's painful to watch an entire country being "snookered".

Steve - sorry but because of the number of death threats, threats against my family, etc.. (due to my speaking about false teachers, false prophets, occult, cults, etc..) I have to try and be careful about my identity.
But I can say that I am in law enforcement.

earthless:I completely understand I actually meant to stick with the what do you do part, the where must of been habit lol. I'm pretty sure you've mentioned being in law enforcement before and it just kinda irritates me when people are posting replies that seem to be questioning someone(you) who should know whats going on. Actually, we all deserve the wrath of God for our sins and for hating God when we were all sinners.. we had no righteousness. We dont deserve anything, but God is gracious and merciful and withholds His judgment from us.
We "deserve" NOTHING... but the wrath of God... but Jesus paid the price so that we would not endure the wrath of God for our sins! and our sinful depraved nature.
