Sauteed mushrooms as a side order with a great steak - - - Delicious.
A mushroom omelet - - - does not sound so good.
We had breakfast at a LePeeps in C. IL. one time. I had an omelet with biscuits and gravy. It was good but not necessarily any better than you can get at countless country cafes for a third of the price.

I do not care for mushrooms. One time I went to a (unbeknownst to me) expensive place for breakfast called LePeep. I didn't know it was expensive till I looked at the menu. Breakfast for me alone, a small breakfast, cost me 14 bucks! I about passed out. I ordered a corned beef hash and it was literally stuffed with mushrooms. Half of the thing was mushrooms. I was not happy and have never suggested to Larry that we try the restaurant. Many times I try a restaurant alone and if it's any good I'll tell him we both need to try it.

When we first got married, Larry wanted to make me his mushroom omelet. I had to tell him I don't like mushrooms, it about broke his heart.

Hi Frog!

Hey Mark!

Will be keeping you and your daughter (and your gracious wife) in prayer. Too bad I live so far away, or I would offer to come help you out at the store.

Melissa,

Thanks for the tips on my testimony.

Cranky, I'll pray for the tea. I know you'll say just what the Holy Spirit wants you to say and I'll pray for you to have peace and confidence while you do it.

Thank you! Prayers are greatly needed.

I've given my testimony before in front of large crowds, so hopefully it will go well. It's just a bit of a naked feeling, you know?

I'll pray for you not to feel naked, too.

I'm just helpful like that.

One of the tricks of making public speaking easier is to imagine the audience naked.

Just don't laugh or barf or they will think you're crazy.

I find its easier to find one person that seems really receptive and talk to them like its a one on one conversation. I do this when I sing too. I can't look at people or my knees buckle.

Well, I thought I was. I ate food today. Think I felt bad again.... <sigh> Thanks for asking. I've lost 7 pounds in 3 days. Not that its a bad thing, but I'd rather lose it another way than being sick. <yuck>

I put mushrooms in my chilli.

Is anyone still around?

You know, I've been trying to talk my mom into joining the forums or at least checking them out once in a while. Now I'm not so sure it's a good idea. She may get the wrong impression and I'm not sure how to explain why I'm a part of this! I could try the "They don't usually act like this" line but I'm not so sure that would work.

LOL...I know what you mean Sony.

Wonder if they got the message that our posts are now showing up on another SG site?

I actually thought of that. Our words are no longer isolated to a few people who will take it in context. I sure don't want others to get the wrong impression on a drive-by but I REALLY don't want to have to explain to Mom. Hopefully she'll just hang out in the Geezer's thread.
