I trembled last night when I heard the voices of American children raised in song, praising the name of Obama, the charismatic fellow who claims he is the American Messiah. Yet I have heard what this man Obama says about abortion and the "mercy killing" of tiny babies who are not wanted. There are so few of us left to warn you. I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians. Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote? Do you vote based on an abortionist’s empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible? Lori Kalner Diana, you and I are close in age. We have watched as America has been initially horrified at the murder of preborn children, then we watched the acceptance of it. We watched the Democrats fight among themselves over abortion, then watched them as the accepted it, most with open arms, shaming others, belittling them for not desiring a woman's choice to murder -- for that is what it is! We watched as most Protestant churches said "Abortion is a Catholic issue," and did nothing. We watched as first, the universities took up the cry for abortion, belittling others as "uneducated" and barbaric for refusing to acknowledge a woman's right to murder. And in our later years, we have seen that attitude move from the universities into the high schools, into the middle schools, and now into the grade schools, all the way down to kindergarten. We who have watched over abortion know that certain children who are born alive are left in filthy basins to die without care, without food. We know that children are aborted because they are not perfect. We know that "not perfect" often means that they are not males. And we were horrified at euthenasia years ago. Now, that has taken the same route as did abortion, and it is called "honorable" and "choice" and "dignified." We watched as the doctors who took seriously their Hippocratic Oath to protect life, refusing to abort, being sued and losing their affiliations with hospitals. We watched the pharmacists who did not want to hand out "morning after" pills lose their jobs and licenses. Now, we call for "change." Well great! On a personal level, I would like "change" at work. I want a larger office with all oak furniture, that is laid out to suit my preferences! But common sense says, "Wait. Wait until the funds are there, then buy sensibly, accepting those things that will not be absorbed in a cash-budget." So the people of America call for change. Great! But why can we not see that simple change is not the answer? I could go in debt redoing my office, and pay for my foolishness for the next four years, regretting it. And that is what we are going to do in America: pay for the next four years for choosing a President who is a good talker/persuader with no experience, whose election into the senate of Illinois was not on par, whose experience is nil -- but he's young and a good talker!! So we chose him over an experienced man who has been around the "block" more than a few times. And one of the lamest excuses I have heard is people voting for Obama because Palin is inexperienced. HELLO!!!!!

ORIGINAL: Covaan_Meshuga I should have saved all the junk mail I got from every side of every election issue. Next time, maybe I will. I'll put it all in a box, then donate it to someone I don't like -- like maybe Planned Parenthood. Abiyah - you give me so many reasons to like you! Oh, you're so sweet to me! Thank you. It's mutual! I received a box of 50 "Little Feet" and 20 "Little Hands" yesterday. Been busy giving them out at work today, because they are having a ladies' Bible study. quote:

ORIGINAL: prolifepj Me too - hit the polls around 4:30 - was out round 5:10. Longer lines were just beginning to form - we left work early to miss rush hour traffic and made it before everyone else could get there...just in time. The evening was disappointing -- more than disappointing.
