I am SO EXCITED!! Jason volunteered to go to Hobby Lobby to find some clay. He had a fourty percent coupon and I told him I trusted him. He spent more than I expected, but it was about the price we'd spend if we had to order 'hearty clay' online. It's a kit that has a NEAT/PERFECT mold that'll go well with the frames! yay! That's great, flintjae!

She is still sleeping, but she seems to do fine as long as I keep her full of motrin or tylenol.

ORIGINAL: Flintejae So far Jadon gets his teeth in pairs. I tried to look in his mouth to see if more were coming,b ut I don't see any. Janine Usual rule of thumb is that you get most or all of the trouble (eg disrupted sleep) with the baby while the teeth are "grumbling" and trying to push well beneath the gum. By the time you actually see them, the trouble is usually over or almost over.

What a week away- still trying to recover, decorate and we are all fighting a bug... Cops... I've been pulled over three times... 1. I made a left hand turn from a right turn lane on red- duh. I was following my then fiance (now hubby) who said turn right, but was wrong. In my mind, I was turning right, so all I needed to do was wait for traffic to clear and go, but when I realized I needed to go left, it didn't register to wait for green... He let me off with a warning since my record was clean and it was an honest, but stupid mistake 2. My mom got my car registration (car was in her name, I was still in college) and threw it away thinking it was for the car they had sold. I was only 18 and never had to deal with the registration so I never looked- she called me to come home (45 minute drive) because it had expired and they had just started doing online registrations from notary offices- came home, got the paper saying it was registered, but no sticker yet. Left to go back to school and my little sister said she put my purse behind me seat, didn't, and wasn't that the night I get stuck at a LONG light in front of a cop. I told him- no problem, I have the paper right.....yeah, no paper, no liscense... He wrote me up in a way that as long as I brought both papers to the police station within 48 hours I would be fine. 3. cop says I was doing 20 over the speed limit (by following me)- first of all, my 6 week old baby was in the back seat. Second, we were on an interstate that is very up and down with several trucks in the right lane- I was sticking to the left, passing them uphill, getting passed downhill, when this car behind me started acting weird, coming right up on me, backing off, right up on me- it made me very nervous, I was post pardum and thinking I had a road rage crazy behind me and a semi to my right so I could a) brake hard and get behind the truck, b) speed up and get around the truck and get out of this guys way- speeding up seemed safer- and for that, I got a ticket (but he only wrote up 5 over- and I was NOT going 20 over!)

Kara - your Detroit story makes me laugh. When I was in high school my dad and I went there for a baseball game. As we were leaving he got us lost. It was well after midnight and my dad pulls up to a Blockbuster and says "go ask them for directions" I said "uh uh, no way am I getting out of this car." I get that he didn't want to leave me alone in the car. Right then I saw the sign to get us out of there, and I was happy because I swear I saw a rat the size of a small dog run in front of our car! Oh my I have too many stories of my dad getting us lost in rough neighbourhoods. And my dad has absolutely no clue. My husband has been pulled over soooo many times. Once, we were driving his brothers car and we were pulled over for speeding pretty fast. The cop looked ticked and we knew we were getting a bad ticket and a few demerit points. But on the way back to his car, the cop stopped to read the handwritten sign my BIL had posted in his window. It said "There are two roads, heaven and hell. Which one are you taking?" The cop came back and told Dh that he put in he was only going 10km over the speed limit so he wouldn't lose any demerit points!

He's spent a fair amount of time doing construction work in some really rough neighborhoods in Detroit, and we joke that you could drop him in any area and he could find the worst neighborhood. He's done it pretty much every vacation we've ever taken. I've only been pulled over once- I had a headlight out and was given a warning to get it fixed. I've been in 3 fender benders. 1 totally my fault, 1 half and half (we backed into each other in a parking lot), and 1 not my fault (was rear ended by a big pickup truck while stopped at a freeway off ramp waiting to pull into traffic.

Now, fevers and teeth pain I can fix. I even have ways to help stuffed noses, but Nathan's cough wakes him up sometimes, and I haven't gone to cough medicine yet (and won't until it really becomes a problem and I speak to a doctor first). Right now it is not a persistent cough, more sporadic.

The only time I've hit a vehicle was when I was backing up in our parking lot. I hit a long cabbed truck. I couldn't figure out why I hit it until I got out of my car since I was barely backed up (not even enough to get out of my spot easily) Well, the lady who parked the truck had it parked about a meter back so she was sticking out of her spot by about a meter. And this parking lot was pretty squishy. I felt so annoyed and dumb. I broke our one tail light, but didn't damage her truck. But I still went and talked to her and made her come out so she could check for herself. She laughed and said her truck was too ugly and that if there was a scratch on it she wouldn't even notice it. So she said "no problem" and I went on my merry way.

The only time I've hit a vehicle was when I was backing up in our parking lot. Me too. I hit a lady in a Walmart parking lot while driving my mom's car. She was driving a big boat and I was driving a Civic (or as I like to call it a papier mache car) My entire bumper folded in and nothing happened to her car. But she ran up to my window and started screaming at me. Then Andrew got out of the passenger seat and she stopped yelling. She pointed to her bumper and told me that I left a mark. I reached down and wiped the mark off (it was dirt). She told me that she was beeping her horn to get me to stop. But the way we collided, she technically hit me so I asked why she didn't just stop rather than continuing to drive and honk her horn. Then her 8 year old son said "I told you mom." The lady has horrified that her son gave her up! When Dh and I met, he was living in Quebec. He still had his Ontario plates on his car because he wasn't living there permanently. He used to get pulled over ALL the time for silly things. Once he was pulled over for having one headlight dimmer than the other. He asked if it was so dim it was illegal, and they said no, but he should get it fixed. He asked why they pulled him over and they just told him he could be on his way. That happens all of the time to Ontario drivers in Quebec, they don't like us at all!
