McCain will shuffle back to the Senate, to finish out yet another term of spending taxpayers' money while passing legislation that denies taxpayers' rights of free speech.

Palin and her freak show family will probably end up on reality TV. I bet Levi Johnston is relieved; no reason to for the shotgun wedding now.

That's rough on Palin. Her family is her private life, much like with Barack Obama, McCain, and Biden...no need to pick on her there. I didn't understand the McCain references to free-speech.

I have no sympathy for Palin, or anyone else who shamelessly uses their family as stage props. I wish they'd stop passing the baby around while spitting on its hair; it's disgusting.

Free speech: In 2002, McCain was co-sponsor of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance "reform" law, which unconstitutionally limits citizens' free speech and freedom of assembly.

McCain lost tonight in part because of his own socialist law.

Without making any more out of this...I just wanted to say that I am happy to see Palin proud of her family. I don't think she needs to be ashamed of anything and I think she is genuine in her displays of affection. She's happy and proud and loves her family. Something we can all learn from and admire.

I am thinking Palin will continue to have a large following, while McCain being up in age will finish off his Senatorial term and retire.

Palin has a very nice family. I don't think she uses them at all. I haven't seen hide nor hair of them in weeks.

McCain will more than likely retire, but Palin has a future in national politics. No one could dig up any dirt on her which is a change from politics as usual.

It will be interesting to watch Palin and Huckabee fight it out for the evangelical segment of the GOP, as Giuliani and Romney watch and cheer them on.

I heard one commentator suggest that election night would likely mark the last time McCain would ever speak to Palin again. I suppose it will be some lowly campaign staffer who'll be on the phone trying to get the Governor to return the wardrobe.

Palin has a long way to go before she can be a serious candidate. She may try next for a senate seat. Or, she may hitch up with FOXRepublicanNews and join the stellar cast of the likes of Oliver Felonorth, Greta Scientologist and Geraldo Narcissis.

Palin's problem is that she doesn't have enough polish.

Fortunately for her this is a problem that can be corrected.

If the Republican Party grooms her and gives her a little polish (I make her sound like a car. lol), she'll be a star for the Party.

So far, I think this is the meanest post election comment I've read.
But it's no surprise I guess that some think vitriol is a virtue.

Yes, I can see her opposite Sharon Osborne and Ellen Degeneres.

Let's wait and see who's proved wrong. I bet Levi could get some quick and ready cash out of his side of the story, while anyone still cares. That is, unless he's swum the Bering Strait to safety already.

Sure do. Sometimes keeps me awake at night (not). Thanks for the complement.

It's Interesting how your reasoning can equate a governor who had a state record approval rating with an out of the closet homosexual comedian and the wife of a heavy metal rocker.

Do you have any insightful comparisons left to share?

Yes, lots of them.

Before August, had you ever heard of Palin, Osborne, or Degeneres? I'm talking about talk TV, where I honestly believe Palin will end up (or at least try). What do you see as wrong about the comparison? I'm not saying that the three of them are identical, or have similar public service records, or know the same about foreign policy, or anything else. So what about my reasoning is giving you trouble?

I know that some Palinolators will be sad to see the knocking down of their false idol. I for one never indulged in the cult of the Golden Moose, and I won't be sad to see her gone, with her phony accent and fake hair, sort of like a cultural conservative Madonna.

Wow. this must be some of those liberal, "Christian values"... How nice. I'd like to know what church you attend, so that I never darken the doors of it. Ever.

When I go, I go to St. Pat's in NYC. Big place, near Rockefeller Center, can't miss it. I don't go much though, usually when my mom needs an escort (she's old-fashioned like that).

I don't think that I've ever been accused of having either liberal or Christian values before; certainly not here. Thanks!

Yeah, more of that good old liberal "tolerance' we keep hearing so much about....

Thanks! Once again, I'm not used to being called either liberal or tolerant. You'll turn my head if you keep it up!

Really, though, it was apparent that the kid wanted out of the situation any way he could. Who could blame him? In my mind, his main problem was not investing in prophylactics.

Namely, that your reasoning seems to be based purely on hate and nothing else of substance. Your caustic ridicule which is neither expedient, accurate, funny, or Biblical benefits no one. You are entitled to your insipid opinion though it bares no resemblance to anything in reality or relevance to reality. You even managed to put in an awkard sexist jab with your last incongruous comparison. If you are aiming at the preposterous, you have hit the bullseye.

Palin will most likely go back to doing what she has done in the past. Being highly successful running a state and making life better for Alaskans (except for those corrupt cops who taser kids)

I'll take the heavy metal rocker wife any day. Palin is a hockey fan and mom and can probably get in some real good licks while sober. ; )

We'll see how Palin goes forward. I don't believe we've heard the last of her. I expect her to make some of the talk tv rounds or do some columns and such. She came onto the scene so fast it was crazy now she needs to build up a better set of credentials.

As for my opinion I believe she was overhyped by her supporters and overly stomped on by her detractors. McCain gave her a chance to hit the big time in politics and I'm interesting to see how she'll go with it.

I'm not 100% sure what's next for Senator McCain or Gov. Palin, but I'll lay odds that Ekserekseez will disappear from these forums pretty soon, along with the rest of his fellow Obama secret operatives
