And as they realize what it means to have a president and congress with socialist leanings. The rest of us will be in the position of saying "I told you so." and finally... 10) Rush Limbaugh will have a very good time during the next four years playing the role of the "loyal opposition." The way I look at it, either Obama can go the way of Jimmy Carter's policies (especially those old enough to remember Iranian hostage crisis, the subsequent Desert One debacle, stagflation, price of oil, and possibly the assassination of S. Korean president Park Chung Hee... or perhaps the high-profile, hostage-rescue/counter terrorism era coming from The GSG9 Mogadishu Rescue, the Israeli commando raid on Entebbe, the Dutch Moluccan Train Incident, and yes, even the latter phase of German Autumn, a.k.a. the reign of The Baader-Meinhoff gang),* or perhaps go the centrist, triangulation strategy, like Clinton, which hence, could very well trigger a left-wing backlash against Obama for going pragmatic (see the recent Newsweek article by Jon Meacham, over how the ultra-liberal president elect will have to govern a traditionally center-right America). *the former of which, I was barely in pre-school when all of this is going on, BUT when I consider the number of grindhouse, sometimes even pornographic films made around my infantile-to-toddler years--which I had the unenviable, firsthand experience of viewing with my Dad or even family , I'm thinking maybe that's the reason why when I was 3-4 years old, I found myself strangely ecstatic/optimistic about Reagan's sweeping electoral victory! I supposed it's almost speculative to suggest that smut 'n shock cinema seems to correlate with the disastrous Carter years! But if someone were to counterpoint that there's also the same level of graphically violent/pornographic entertainment during the Reagan 80's, and at least with the Bush Sr. administration, I can always say it's due in part to the same post-60's filmmaking radicals that traumatized me then, are now traumatizing a newer generation of young people--especially if they were to become a potentially newer generation of young conservatives, comme moi!

On a pop cultural tangent (again ), I may look forward to more Biden jokes (from the late night, talk show circuit), a resurgent SNL (now that Obama will have to provide Tina Fey and CO. newer material to tackle)... ...or perhaps the death of mainstream topical (left-leaning) humor, given if what I've heard from the campaign phase of '08, many comedians were too scared to lampoon their own!

I'm hearing the same thing from Christians from all over the United States and it's just within minutes of each other. God is showing everyone the same exact things. I also do believe we will be persecuted, but God will separate the wheat from the weeds, the sheep from the goats. The wheat will grow strong, while the weeds will grow weaker and die. As in Daniel 3, those who bow down to the idols (Obama) will go free while those who refuse to bow down will be persecuted. But be strong and know God is with us, He will protect us. I also believe, and I've stated this elsewhere and I'll state it again, That once Obama taxes the super rich, the economy will suffer. But again, know God is OUR supplier, not Obama. He will cocoon you in His hands and you will prosper while the world suffers. As the economy falls, those who trust in Him will be perserved. Let the others run after their new savior, we'll stand strong in Christ Jesus. Just don't let go of Jesus no matter how bumpy the ride gets or no matter how hard they laugh and mock us. quote:

I expect that the RePO group(Reid Pelosi Obama), will introduce spending programs, "for the children"(of course), that will only cost the taxpayer "a few dollars a week", as opposed to the "millions, billions, trillions, gadzillions", that the Republican tax cuts cost the precious government.
