the economy seemed to be the #1 american concern. When you are faced with your home forclosed, no job, etc.,

I disagree. 96% of all mortgage holders are paying their mortgage every single month. Those that are being foreclosed (for the most part) are people who should never have been given a mortgage loan in the first place. But mostly Democrat policies from the Clinton era till recently were forcing Fannie and Freddie to give loans to people who should never have one.

Also, the economy didn't really become an issue till recently. Remember that just last year it was the war, terrorism and immigration.

The way the news is you'd think so many homes are in trouble.

Exactly! Some conspiracy theorists have noted that the mainstream media did that on purpose to help Obama.

OK.. ok... I will take my tinfoil hat off now.

No tinfoil hat needed evidently.

Matthews: My Job Is To Make Obama Presidency a Success

Just in time for the new James Bond movie, Chris Matthews has earned himself a new moniker: Odd Job. Matthews says he sees his job as a journalist as doing everything he can to make the Obama presidency a success. Appearing on Morning Joe today, Matthews was reluctant to criticize Rahm Emanuel's kabuki dance over accepting Obama's offer to be chief of staff. The Hardball host was equally unwilling to see the Emanuel episode as evidence of a lack of planning and discipline in the nascent Obama administration. Matthews eventually explained why.[H/t multiple NB readers.]

The press took very good care of obama.

It paid off for the press. They are selling newspapers in record numbers. Maybe he has already saved a few jobs.

The local paper here (Gannet) backed Obama and they raised the price of the store bought papers .25 cents…just for the occasion

Got a problem with capitalism?

NOPE! I do have a problem with "freedom of the press" not being responsible in the manner they report the news. They created the news for the sake of a profit. I do have a problem with the election being sold off for a few temporary dollars.

One thing for sure after the press runs its course in being pro Obama they will then have to find a new way to sell those papers......ummmm I wonder who might be their next victim....of course under the guise of "freedom of the press". It won't Sarah Palin or McCain they have already obliterated them.

It's basic capitalism: charge what the customer will pay. You might see the same thing happen in the event the Bears were to win the Super Bowl or the Cubs or Whuite Sox take the series or the Bulls win another title. OK, these are pretty far-fetched examples.

As a conspiratist, I say this was all "manipulated."
the economy was okay. I'm still making my mortgage payments.
I'm still making my car payments. I'm still giving to my church and
charities. I'm still buying gas whatever the price is. And just in case
people think I'm one of the "rich", the bad guys. I make less than
$25,000. I just "manage" what I make and "content" myself where
I am.

I expect no tax-break for those under $250,000. hahahahaha
But, I'll cash any checks they send me, but I can't be bought.
I'll still vote against any liberals on ballots I use.

I've been wondering for months if Colmes realizes the absurdity of what he's saying. It doesn't even make good sense when it comes out of his mouth!

WHAT HAS OBAMA DONE?

No one has ever given an answer to that question.

WHERE IS HE GOING TO TAKE US?

Still, no one knows. He just said, "We'll get there!"

All I can say is "GET WHERE?!"

Got a problem with capitalism?

No not al all..

If I were in command I would have "lowered the price" -.15 from .50 to .35 so I could sell more
and then slash the pork out of the salary from those idiots who came to me with the Idea of the increase and phony bologna jobs in the first place... who have nothing better to do with themselves = (democrats)

And with that I could make up the difference between the .35 and .75 cents because they suggested it ... and by cutting the pork... be able to create salaries and hire more people with the .40 cents x a trillion

And if I was to make the incentives palatable to the millions of commodities in the nation …then the excess $$ would go to pay the national debt and the money would start flowing within 6 months rather the 4 years suggested… but not promised by Obama

And if any of the rich ...so to speak!... gave me a hard time ...I would promise them that I would bring more imports against them ...just to make there lives miserable.

Got a problem with capitalism?

Question
When Obama is given a deal that the Saudis would pay off our national debt... in exchange for backing away from Israel,
.....Being based on Obama’s never ceasing rhetoric on the economy during this campaign and “the people’s” messiah.
….which offers do you think he'll take?

RE: What went wrong for McCain

That’s easy….He is pro Israel
And we don't want any more failed policies...now do we?

It looks like with crowds of adoring fans in Chicago and all over the world, it's pretty hard for the progressive libs to spin their way around your synopsis. Of course they do it all the time. The lib media will be sure and cover all the angles. Sarah Palin mentioned Israel alot. But that's rather academic, since she is an inept dizzy female that "hurt" McCain and knows nothing about geography. However if Sarah was part of the N.O.W. clan, she would be a princess. The lib media can spin anything and they have the money to do it. They did it with their first attempt, John Kerry.
I remember the "help" we gave to Israel during the Nazrallah jihad campaign in Lebanon. I was on the U.S.S. Kennedy before it got decommissioned. We could have run night ops for infrared surveillance to help Israel for intelligence and target acquisition. Instead, what we did was help evacuate a bunch of Lebanese Americans out of Beirut so they would be safe from the fall out. In the meantime Yahoo and CNN had major coverage with their boys like Wolf Blitzer concerning the collateral damage being caused by Israel. And now, this guy is going to be President of the United States.

Bolivia: U.S. Ambassador Expelled for Allegedly Supporting Violent Opposition
Written by Franz Chávez
Thursday, 11 September 2008

(IPS) - Bolivian President Evo Morales has declared U.S. Ambassador to La Paz Philip Goldberg "persona non grata", after accusing him of aiding and abetting pro-autonomy opposition groups that are blocking highways and occupying government buildings, reducing the supply of natural gas to Brazil.
"I am not afraid of anyone, not even the empire (the United States)," Morales said Wednesday afternoon at the presidential palace when he instructed Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca to inform the U.S. ambassador in writing that he was no longer welcome in the country "It is unprecedented for a head of state to announce a declaration of "persona non grata," although this must be looked at within the context of the deteriorated diplomatic relations," former Foreign Minister Armando Loaiza told IPS.

Over the past year, the leftwing Morales administration has accused the U.S. embassy in Bolivia of offering its backing to departmental (provincial) governments in Santa Cruz, Beni, Pando, Tarija and Chuquisaca in their crusade for radical autonomy.

Bring in the homosexual army and the abortion activist; and this is what get that verifies the revelation
"I am not afraid of anyone, not even the empire (the United States),"

They are all of bunch Spiteful little kids; that are going to the back sides enlightened.
