Samson named the first one, and John_O knew it, named Better Off Dead, an early John Cusak movie. A girly kind of comedy. I could watch it once every couple months.
2. John_O knows it... no one has named it yet. What is your favorite color? Blue.... no, no, green! AAaaaaauauuuughhhhhh! (hint)
3. John_O knows this one, too, but leaves it to be named by someone else. 'Take you to him I will, hmmm?? Yes... but first we must eat.'
4. this is kind of right up there with the first one. another hint....
'I sure hope someone can tell me what is going on here... .'
'I can, but first, let me compliment you on your choice of footwear attire. (bunny slippers on both actors).
5. Prairiehiker got this right, that's from Titanic.
6. John_O is correct, that's from Top Gun.
7. That's a line a missed former TV wrestler Andre the Giant used in Princess Bride after tossing the first plaster rock at Wesley.
So 2, 3, and 4 still need naming. Now it's my turn to play some.
#2 is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

There is one of mine that has yet to be guessed. It's from a rather obscure old movie with Danny Kay, called The Court Jester and the line is absolutely hilarious in context...
"I live for a sigh! I die for a kiss! I lust for a laugh! Ha! Ha! I never walk when I can leap, I never flee when I can fight! I swoon at the beauty of a rose!"
If you have run out of movies to watch, do find that one for a great laugh.

Was it the narrator speaking? I thought King Kong as well, but I could only remember when Jack Black's character said, "No. Beauty killed the beast."

Ok, I know you're right on that one, but I really thought he also said the "as one dead" line. Lemme check IMDB...
All right, it is King Kong, but as John noted the character "Hayes" says the line. (Not Jack Black's Carl Denham.) I forget just who he was. The actor listed in the Hayes role is Evan Parke.
