Yeah, like your broken and smashed heart that knew a perfect guy was way too good to be true?

God's in control though, I'll get through this! *smiles weakly*

Sure...Singing Boy broke my heart and handed it back...it kind of hurt.

He ended up liking a different girl and was really rude when he told me about it, my friend "Christopher Robin" (that's what we call him) told me it wasn't my fault and that since he was too stupid to like me that God would send me an even better guy...then joked that if one of these crazy guys didn't end up liking me, he would, he makes me smile! I'm so glad I have two guy friends who are ALWAYS there no matter what! Him, my friend "Wrestler" and of course, My Jesus Christ! Let's just say that Singing Boy didn't turn out to be who I thought he was, I can't believe I forgot to keep my heart guarded...again?! Oh, well! I'll live and get over him and this whole thing!

Oh man, Jchick. I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you. But praise God that through the trials, we become more likened unto Christ.

Your situation kind of reminds me of Psalm 55, when David is crying out to the Lord. The whole chapter is powerful, but verses 21 and 22 really moved me.
The context of the passage is that David was betrayed. But he wasn't betrayed by his enemy, it was by one of his closest friends. And in this chapter, David is pouring out his heart to God.

Verses 21 and 22 say: "[21] The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

[22] Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

I think that's just such a great promise, and I hope it gives you at least a little bit of peace through this.

Thanks Jon! I'll be okies...it just kind of threw me for a loop is all. But, hey! No guy is worth sitting around and crying over! Thanks for the verses, they were AWESOME! *smiles*

It's not that I got so easily excited over the relationship...it's that I thought he was someone different than who he really is.

And I can't be pessimistic...it's depressing and I hate being depressed!

I'll get over him! I always do get over them!

Anyways, better to find out they are a jerk now than later!
