Milliecat,

Re:I believe that a lot of Hilary supporters were temporarily
angry that Obama won the nomination. They came back to
Obama because Palin believes in "life" and is a devout Christian.
She lives her values and convictions. The feminists hated her
for those reasons also.

Whatever their reasons, Obama 'won' and shall be President
of the USA, as God said. For it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie.
I also noticed that there are few if any challenges like other
wins. Obama won so decisively. If McCain doubled his electoral
votes, he would still NOT win. God rules ALL! What He chooses
to do SHALL be. I even had problems with 'me', yet God showed
me "He" is in control of ALL creation. His Word cannot return void
as in Isaiah 55:11. God said in heaven "You shall..." like "Let there
be light" and there WAS light. Praise His Name!

God was in control when Herod the Great was placed in power by the Romans. He allowed that to happen. I don't really believe that God placed Obama in power because he's best for this country or anything like that. I believe he left us to our own devices. He knows our hearts and many, many Americans do not care about the moral fiber of the candidate anymore. They care mostly about their pocketbooks so if they "think" Obama will help them then I guess God allowed them to have what they want. But I doubt their pocketbooks will get much thicker. Instead, I think judgement is about to come on this nation.

No, it means as someone who has actually worked on a campaign don't trust paid staffers who are looking to make excuses so they can get the next political gig.

Why would paid staffers betrayed their boss, and what do you mean by "political gig"?

Lets see, don't trust Republican paid staffers, don't trust the media, and don't trust democrates. What else do you have on your list?

Here is a bit from Rich Lowry at National Review:

Oh I see. Trust anyone that speaks favorably of her.

So happen as I was reading a Newsweek magazine I read:

"Palin, the polls showed, had succeeded in rallying the Republican base. But she, or the simmering anger around her, help in making Obama supporters out of countless independent voters."

Maybe I shouldn't trust Newsweek.

I find it more than humorous that suddenly you find anonymous campaign staffers for McCain to be the most trustworthy people in the world; wonder why that is?

Lowry names names; I certainly trust a named source over an unamed one, as should everyone. Sorry to disappoint you with facts.

Do you understand why your guy lost the election and why your party did so poorly, especially in the New England states?

I have read The Corner in the Natoinal Review. It is a blog and not a news article. It also seems to be that Rich Lowry, the one who disputes the claims made by staffers and aides, also relies on them when they suit his purpose.

For instance on his article Palin and "Palling Around, he writes:

Newsweek reports that Palin jumped the gun and attacked Obama for his association with Ayers before the McCain campaign had decided to pull the trigger. But I was just talking to a former McCain aide who...

Just why would he rely on an aide if they aren't to be trusted?

Like Newsweak is not biased.

I posted earlier in the thread an article by David Frum who had a problem with the same aide. She's a career hack.

If the aides could be trusted, would the fake French president have gotten through. Freddie, you must be a product of the California educational system.

They don't hide their bias. They are a conservative news source.

Rich Lowry quoted an actual person, not an anonymous source; I will trust a person willing to be identified over someone who is unwilling to own up to his claims any day of the week.

The question isn't 'who isn't trustworthy' the question is, "What criticism of Palin won't you accept without question?"

To date, none.

Well, well, well.... It appears that this was a HOAX!

Sarah Palin Leaker Outs Himself...and Turns Out to Be a Hoaxer!

(Check out the update below. Apparently this leaker is actually a hoaxer. Did Carl Cameron get scammed with completely false information?)

The leaker who "revealed" to Carl Cameron of FOX News that Sarah Palin didn't know that Africa was a continent or which nations were in the North American Free Trade Agreement has outed himself. First of all the leaker turned out not to be Mitt Romney nor one of his associates as some have suspected. More importantly, the leaker's own revelation does not show that Sarah Palin didn't know that Africa was a continent nor that she didn't know which countries were in the NAFTA. Okay, so who is the leaker? Drum roll please, maestro! And the leaker is....Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain campaign adviser. Eisenstadt revealed himself to be the leaker and his reasons for leaking in his blog:

...

UPDATE: It turns out that Carl Cameron might have been scammed by a hoaxer. Here is information about "Martin Eisenstadt" from SourceWatch:

HOAX WARNING RE "M. THOMAS EISENSTADT" AND THE "HARDING INSTITUTE FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY"

"M. Thomas Eisenstadt" is a pseudonym used to describe someone who claims to be a "Senior Fellow at the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy in Washington, D.C.[1] A "bio" note claims that "Eisenstadt" is the "founder and president of the campaign consulting firm The Eisenstadt Group and was an advisor to the Rudolph Giuliani presidential campaign in 2007-2008."[2]

According to the "bio" note, "Eisenstadt" was described by the Wall Street Journal as "one of the foremost commentators on issues of U.S. policy towards the Middle East and is one of the bright lights of the neoconservative movement."[2] He cites National Journal’s The Hotline as referring to himself as “a rising GOP pundit” and “a clear-spoken advocate for Rudy Giuliani.”[2]

But they do not pretend to be mainstream objective press. National Review touts itself as a conservative news piece.

And now that it is known it was all a hoax.. will the liberal detractors in this thread say anything in here again?

We have to remember, as we wait for appologies, that to the Palin haters it isn't about truth, the damage is done already since the majority of American people can't be bothered to do half the research that most of us here do.
