Pick three drawings: 13 per week X 52 weeks= 676 per year X 19 years= 12844 drawings. 666 has been the winning number 21 times (including once on Christmas day and once on New Years Eve). Thats once every 612 times on average. But it has happened four times in 2008.

The combination 0-0-0 has also been a winner 21 times. Go figure.

As I recall, the first time 666 came up in the PA Daily Number, it turned out to have been fixed. The other ping-pong balls had been weighted with paint. Was quite the scandal.

But yeah, any individual number combination should be coming up about once in every 1000 drawings on average (assuming pure randomness).

You got it! My wife is too. Though for some reason my wife and I still managed to spend way too much money when we were dating....

Obama was the ILL Senator. On November 5th 2008 he was elected the 44th President of the USA.On November 5th 2008 there was also the ILL lottory. The Wednesday evening pick three number were as follows 6-6-6 never in Lottory history have those three numbers ever come up. Now then look at the pick 4 for the same night the numbers are 7-7-7-9. Are you freaked yet if not read below. Also some 15th century person named Nostrodamus predicted something about a man named MABUS and he is suppose to die and then all chaos will break out and one of Obama's advisors name is Ray Mabus he was the former Ambassader to Saudi Arabia

Number 6 :THE NUMBER OF MAN: Man was created on the 6th day. Man labors 6 days only. The Serpent was created on the 6th day. The 6th commandment is "Thou shalt not murder." Six words are used for man: Adam, ish, Enosh, gehver, anthropos, anar. Also, 6 x 6 = 36. 36 + 35 + 34 + 33 + 32 . . . 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 666. 666 is the number of the antichrist. This means that the name of the antichrist in Greek adds up to 666. This is a mockery of the Trinity.

Number 7:THE NUMBER OF SPIRITUAL PERFECTION. Seven days in a week. Seven colors in the spectrum. Seven of the 10 commandments begin with the word "not." There are 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 parables in Matthew, and 7 promises to the churches. There are 7 "eternals" in Hebrews which are: A priest for ever (1:6); Eternal salvation (1:9); Eternal judgment (6:2); eternal redemption (9:12); eternal spirit (9:14); eternal inheritance (9:15); and everlasting covenant (13:20). Jesus said 7 things on the cross: 1) Luke 23:34 "Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots; 2) Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise"; 3) Matthew 27:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" -- which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"; 4) John 19:26 "When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son"; 5) John 19:28 "Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." 6) John 19:30 "When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit"; and 7) Luke 23:46 "Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last." "Hallelujah" occurs 28 times or 4 x 7. "Hosanna" occurs 7 times. "Milk" occurs 49 times or 7 x 7. "Abaddon" occurs 7 times. "After the order of Melchizedek" occurs 7 times.

Number 9:THE NUMBER OF JUDGMENT. There are 9 greek words derived from the root word meaning judgment = dikay. The following words each occur 9 times in the Bible: abussos (bottomless pit); asebee (ungodly); aselgeia (lasciviousness); and astrapee (lightning). The gifts of the spirit are 9 in number (1 Cor. 12:8-10): the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues

-Dan.

I'm not well-versed enough in statistics to say. Randomness is not sameness. So the question would be how much variation would be expected.

Assuming 42 numbers (I didn't check the site, but lotteries are suually around 40), wouldn't it just be 42x42x42 = a 1 in 74,088 chance for any specific number combination?

From what I remember of my statistics class, the lotto would reset after every draw so subsequent draws would have no dependency upon previous draws. Meaning, the odds of every number drawn would be exactly the same in each draw regardless of whether or not it was picked in the last draw.

Does that make sense?

Wow, I wonder what wisdom we can glean from the Ohio lottery? I expect Ohio is more likely to be meaningful information because it's a much better state. If Someone were going to reveal anything through the lotto, it would be in Ohio.

Site says basic odds are 1:1000. There are several ways to play that cause odds to vary (e.g., No's in order, front two, back two, etc.).

Yes and I recall that from stat class as well. But I've also heard the argument that variation can cause the odds to change. Like the coin toss. Is 1:2 odds. But if heads has hit 20 of 25 times, the odds increase that tails will catch up over time, assuming the coin is balanced by weight. (Heads on a penny has more weight than tails and will prevail at a slightly higher rate).

Christians should not be gambling, concerned with lotteries, using numerology or quoting Nostradamus. These are not godly. Scripture states that it is God who decides the Kings of the earth. In times past, he has used the enemy of a nation to chasten one which was disobedient. The perpetuation of the claim that President-Elect Obama is the antichrist is a smokescreen for the vilest racial hatred and division. Even Pastor Hagee, a Biblical scholar states emphatically that Obama is NOT THE ANTICHRIST. The Church has been blinded by the spirit of this world and mammon worship to the point that the "very elect" is deceived, it seems.

Biblically, it was a black man from Niger who carried the Lord Jesus's cross when he was too weary to make it to Golgotha. Had it not been for the fufillment of the cross, we would not be saved, still. Moses's father-in-law, Jethro was a black man. Moses's wife was a black woman, and when Moses sister murmured, she turned into a leper. The Apostle Phillip was commissioned by the Holy Spirit to be translated to tell an Ethiopian eunich the "good news." "God is no respecter of persons..." This is Scripture. How then, did we get a group of alleged Christians who claim moral or racial superiority over another? Right now, God is judging the self-righteous. This is the reason for the recent defeat of all of those who prayed to destroy President-Elect Obama.

Get a sense of humor. Every elected official at least in my time has been called by someone the Anti-Christ. Truth is we don't know when we will see the Anti-Christ. I pray Obama's not him or we are in more trouble than we suspected.

I agree. We have to make sure we don't make assumptions based on fear of the unknown. We have to continue to be lead by the Spirit and he will continue to lead us into all truth. We don't want to spread rumors that are not based on God's insight. Let us stay prayerful. God bless!!!
