To those who could not stand obama, what are you going to do? I know its a tragedy for some of you here. Will you make it thru ok the next 4 years?
We can pray... we can do like it says in Timothy and honor the magistrates that God has put in power over us. We can render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the thing that are God's.
Remember the people back in Jesus time had the evil Romans for government, and they survived. It is not that bad now,, is it?
the country will need all the prayer we can get. there may be some of our brothers and sisters that will be affected by what happens in these next 4 years.
I trust that God will see us thru. You know that I have hope for obama in spite of the naysayers, I hope that I wont be surprised by what happens if they change certain laws. And i do hope that some of the laws that you all were fearing.. wont be changed after all.

Only time will tell.
But, from his past record, it's not too hard to judge his future actions.
His ideology is what has everyone concerned. Not to mention Pelosi and Reid
and the other ideologs who will be bull dozing him.

Thank you IMA, for thinking and asking about us poor tortured souls. I think I am going to weep and wail, tear my clothes and wear dust and sackcloth for the next four years. If Obama (who I call the "Hated One") is re-elected for another four years I'll then know God isn't with me any longer and I'll just have to find a satanic group and offer myself as a human sacrifice.
In the meantime, does anyone know a good dentist so I can get on with the gnashing of teeth?

i try to have a wait and see atttitude.
everyone can anticipate the worst.. and it will drive us nuts and get us down hearted ,, and take our eyes off God who can see us thru. i dont think worrying is gonna do much good.
but even if some laws that we dont like look like they are in danger of getting changed, we can still work to stop it... and work to keep the laws we want.
and we can still do our neighborly duty and help those that look like they will take advantage of the current laws, and commit a sin (abortion).. we can get more involved where it counts.

I'm hurrying my plans for a green house, more garden space, etc.
I'll have to polish up my bb-gun pistol and rifle. lol. That's all I've got.
170 square feet of garden will feed a family. So, it's easy enough even
if you live on a roof top. Oops, got to camouflage it or they'll tax it.
I hate it that Obama was elected, but I'm at peace. Not because I think
he won't be harmful, but only that my peace comes from the One who
left His Peace with me.

It is what it is, we cannot change the election results. Now, can you deal with the feedback when he messes up (and I believe it will be shortly)? Will you admit that he isn't equiped to run our nation or will you hold on with both hands and blame if on the past president? All that ails will be Bush's fault right? Since everything that is wrong now is even though research shows that is just not true!

A large one being that he voted for the subprime loan changes that brought on this housing disaster. But since it was only a "couple" we can overlook that.

At least with Obama, we know up front what we're getting. He's never been coy about the fact that he wants to use the government to steal my stuff and give to his special friends. Since he's honest about it, I don't have any problem with him personally.
