Check out Joel and Kathy Davisson's site HERE. God is using them in an awesome way to save marriages that are on the brink of destruction. They can help you.

I don't want to derail this thread but did want to caution against using this ministry for counseling. The main gist of what they teach in their books is good but I know of about 4 marriages (mine included) where the counsel they gave did more harm than good (counsel went against what they teach in the books ). There's a lot more to it but that's all the detail I'll go into here.

Ken Nair teaches the same things but in a more Christ centered way. I HIGHLY recommend counseling with the Ken Nair ministry. That has done wonders for our marriage.

ETA: Nair's book Understanding the Mind of A Woman is a great book too. It's directed towards the husband but is a good read for the wife as well.

It's not my intention to derail the thread either, but hundreds of couples have been helped by this ministry, including myself and my husband. A recommedation is just that - a recommendation. It's up to the people involved to decide if it's a good fit for their particular situation. They also recommend Ken Nair's books, so I think the two ministries are generally in agreement.

Opinions of ministries notwithstanding , I agree that you're going to have to decide what you're willing to live with and then make some changes.

Regardless of where you go for advice or counsel, common sense and diligent prayer (for discernment) are always in order.
