Please pray for my husband and I. We are going through a very difficult time of testing. He voluntarily stepped down from the Elder board due to a behavioral indiscretion. This incident happened at work so we not only need to deal with it 45 hours a week, we have to face it at church as well.
While we have gone to counseling and have been given the nod that we need to no more, there is a new territory in our lives.
We have always been each others support when times were tough, but since we are both carrying very heavy weight from the consequences, our moods swing fast and we cannot talk about things the way we used to, at least not now.
Pray as you feel led. Thank you.

I bring this couple to Your circle of grace for healing.
Draw ppodmama's husband to you and through the Holy Spirit let him ask for forgiveness from God and his wife for every hidden sin he has committed through action or thoughts.
Help ppodmama to not have feelings of bitterness and distrust, and please comfort her and lift her up.
Calm their heightened emotions and help them focus only on You and Your will for their lives.
Let them experience a complete healing of their marriage with intact trust and a committed love for each other.
Only You can heal those wounds, Lord, and I am asking you to work in each of them hourly until Your will is accomplished.
Hold them. Love them. Help them, Holy Father.

Praying that the scared feeling goes away. That the job situation resolve itself rapidly, either with a new job or a resolution between those involved and the superior over the participants- that a job loss not result. Praying that the new territory that has been counseled about be approached in an even more determined fashion than any previous trials faced, that there is revelation that its going to take two people giving 100% to conquer, and that there are two people willing to try. Praying that you and your husband take turns carrying not just one's own weight, but also offering to carry some of the others so that the other has some rest from it (however that'd work). Also praying that there be no thinking toward why there be no talk and lots of thinking about how to be talking to each other.
